Classic Remise – Düsseldorf – 24/04/2022

The Classic Remise in Düsseldorf is an extraordinary place for anyone who loves beautiful cars. It is a center for vintage cars, housed in an old locomotive shed. This historic, round-shaped building has garages, maintenance services for classic cars, spare parts stores, scale models, accessories and restaurants.  It is the ideal place for extraordinary events.  The mix between industrial architecture from the beginning of the 20th century and the exhibition of old cars offers you a unique setting to admire these old cars. Opened in 2006, this center is the 2nd of its kind in the world (the 1st being the Classic Remise in Berlin).  Many clubs take advantage of this place to visit it and once again Porsche United had answered « present ».  Appointment was made for breakfast at the Auberge de Rousch in Heerlen. A first part of 112 km took us to the Classic Remise where we had the opportunity to admire extraordinary vehicles. The Italian tavern ……. offered us a delicious lunch before starting the road around 2:00 p.m. for a second part of 244 km to Dilsen-Stokkem and ending with an excellent meal at Vivendum, a restaurant masterfully managed by chef Alex Clevers and his wife Marianne.
